At Dusk&Dawn, we believe that everyone deserves a comfortable place to rest, and we’re incredibly proud to support Make-A-Wish Australia and its work creating moments of hope and joy for children facing critical illness.
Make-A-Wish Australia is dedicated to granting life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Since its foundation in 1985, more than 11,000 wishes have been granted across Australia, each one as unique as the child who imagines it.
A wish is much more than a single moment. Make-A-Wish describes each one as a journey, carefully designed around the individual child and their family. From imagining and planning the wish, through to seeing it come to life, the experience is designed to provide hope, joy and a positive focus alongside medical treatment.
Helping make Bellah's wish come true
We’re honoured to be part of the Wish Journey of 16-year-old Bellah, who is currently making her wish of a complete bedroom makeover come to life.
As part of her recovery, Bellah wanted to create a bedroom that felt completely her own - a special space where she could relax, recharge and spend time away from the hospital environment.

Pictured above is Bellah's room before the room makeover.
When it came to choosing her new bed, Bellah selected the Dusk&Dawn Essential MK2 Double Plush mattress, giving her newly transformed room a comfortable place to rest.
Bellah's mum shared just how much the project has meant to their family:
“Bellah wanted her room arranged a certain way, with each wall completely covered in a collage of pictures. This has proven to be quite time-consuming, but it’s nearly finished. I also wanted to thank everyone involved. Although I’m completely exhausted from painting and arranging her room exactly how she wanted it, it has all been worth it to see Bellah’s excitement at each step along the way.”
And perhaps the best part? Bellah has been loving her new bed.
After so many surgeries and the need for plenty of rest and recuperation, she now has a cosy, comfortable space to relax at the end of the day, surrounded by the things she loves and in a room that reflects her personality.

The power of a wish
For a young person going through an incredibly challenging period, having something special to look forward to can make a meaningful difference.
Make-A-Wish Australia says its Wish Journeys can provide children and families with excitement and anticipation, as well as a welcome distraction from treatment.
Bellah’s wish is a beautiful example of how personal a wish can be. It doesn’t have to be something extravagant or far away. Sometimes, a wish is about creating a sanctuary at home - a room that feels special, familiar and completely your own.
For Bellah, that means walls covered in memories, a room designed exactly the way she imagined it, and a new bed where she can rest and recover in comfort.
Proud to be part of the Wish Force
Making a wish come true takes a community. Make-A-Wish works with wish families, volunteers, medical teams, businesses and supporters to bring each unique Wish Journey to life.
We’re incredibly grateful to have played a small part in Bellah’s wish and to have been able to provide something that will be part of her everyday life long after the room makeover is complete.
At Dusk&Dawn, we’re passionate about making quality sleep a little closer to home. Being able to provide Bellah with a new mattress for her special space has made that belief even more meaningful.
We’re wishing Bellah many happy, restful nights in her beautiful new room.
